School Houses

All Cowling children are allocated a school house. These are named after famous local landmarks or people. Our School Houses are: Pinnacle (after Cowling Pinnacle) , Hitching (after the Hitching Stone said to be Yorkshire's largest boulder), Snowden (after Philip Snowden former Chancellor of the Exchequer)  and Wainman (named after William Wainman a wealthy 17th century wool producer.)
